This weekend, I will make the twenty hour drive back to Dallas with all of my stuff, making the move from college student in Utah to, hopefully soon, professional in Dallas or practically anywhere else I find a job.
Over the past five years I have had many wonderful adventures and met many amazing people. Here are some of my favorite adventures, places and restaurants in Utah in no particular order.
Salt Lake City
Temple Square and the Salt Lake Temple
Jack Solomon’s Home full of antiquities and art
LDS Business College at the mansion and Triad Center
Walking or driving down South Temple
Walking or driving down Main Street
City Creek Center construction watching
This is the Place Heritage Park
Going to The Forgotten Carols
Provo
Chinese Garden Chinese Restaurant
BYU campus: Monte L. Bean Museum, Hinckley Center
Walking to Albertsons or Fresh Market down 500 West from the Omni
Around the State
Big Cottonwood Canyon specifically the Silver Lake boardwalk trail
Thanks to all of the wonderful people who have been there and shared these adventures with me. It wouldn’t have been the same without you. You can click on these places for websites with more info and I created a Google Map just for this post called Kevin’s Favorite Utah Places.
Now off to have new adventures. First stop Hovenweep National Monument and Mesa Verde National Park then off, with a few other stops, to Dallas for many more exciting adventures.
