International and Domestic Tours

Adventure Patches Tours has been a dream a long time in the making. It’s interesting how a pandemic that shut down tourism is the catalyst to make this happen, but that’s 2020 for you. When travel restrictions are lifted and places reopen for tourists, Adventure Patches will begin offering international and domestic U.S. tour options. International locations may include China, Mongolia, South Africa, Australia, and more.

Custom tours will also available. Contact Kevin on this website, through Facebook or Instagram, or by sending an email to adventurepatches@gmail.com.

In addition to leading informal tours for family, friends, and friends of friends, I guided tour experiences at This is the Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City for several summers and led tours for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in Scottsdale, Arizona at Taliesin West. Taliesin West was the architect’s winter home and studio and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here are some formal reviews of me from my time as a guide there.

We had such a great time touring the Great Salt Lake with Kevin. He’s amazing at spotting all sorts of animals in the distance. Kevin is very informative and fun to be around. He also came fully prepared with yummy Utah treats, water, and sunscreen. It was a perfect day at the Great Salt Lake.

Thank you Kevin for an awesome experience. It really helped us know the area around our hotel since we don’t have a car. The history here is so rich and that extra bit on Hawaii’s connection to Salt Lake City was over the top. Mahalo nui loa. I totally recommend Kevin.

Highly recommend this tour with Kevin. It explored locations and history that aren’t included in most tours of Salt Lake City so it was unique and interesting. Kevin is a wealth of information and a natural tour guide. You won’t be disappointed!

Can’t say enough about Kevin and his thoughtful tour. I’ve lived in the valley for over 30 years and was fascinated with the historical religious buildings I didn’t know existed.

(Quin, Airbnb tour guest, 2021)

Kevin is a great guide, personable, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile. If you enjoy architecture, especially religious architecture, you won’t want to miss this tour

We loved this—we’re from SLC but didn’t know the history of these buildings or the religious history of downtown. Kevin is knowledgeable and friendly, a perfect host.
