Another big life adventure complete – a graduate degree. I recently received a Master’s of Science in Leadership from the Colangelo College of Business at Grand Canyon University and participated in the college’s commencement ceremony. Lots of family came and I had a great final weekend in Arizona with them to celebrate. A few of those adventures I’ll write about in other posts.
When I announced on Facebook that I would be leaving the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and moving to Utah for the summer my grandmother called and said she didn’t want me to go. She has been a fan of Wright’s for many years and wanted me to show her Taliesin West. A few cousins got together and we helped her get to Arizona before I left. So, naturally a tour of Wright’s desert home was in order. I also took the opportunity to share the David and Gladys Wright House with my family.
Overall, it was a great weekend with family. I’m so grateful they were able to make it out and visit and that my grandma could join us.
In addition to these outings, we also visited a public park that’s all about trains and visited the beautiful Papago Buttes. Then, as the coup de grace to my Phoenix sojourn, my dad and I hiked Camelback. More about these adventures coming soon.
