What can I say about India that hasn’t been said? A country of more than 1.2 billion people crammed into a space just over a quarter the size of China (or the United States) that has its own unique character with its own distinct problems, curiosities, and things to celebrate. Lots of people have said lots of things about the subcontinent and I really can’t say anything so profound to add to that conversation.
As I thought about how to share my experiences from three weeks in India, I went back to why I write this blog: to help others broaden their horizons of the world thus increasing understanding, appreciation, and celebration of our fellowship of man wherever we may be; to share my adventures with family and friends around the globe; and to be part of a record of my life for posterity. With that in mind, I’ll share my experiences, some of them more profound and exciting than others, without trying to sound like a major travel resource or guidebook. I hope you enjoy.
