I write about things I’m grateful for without talking about my faith and family. They both shaped me to who I am today and encourage me to go on in times of difficulty. Since today and tomorrow are the last two days, that’s right Thanksgiving is tomorrow, I decided to save my family for the end. So, today I’m going to share a little about my faith.
I’m a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a Mormon, and I’m happy to say it! I am so grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ! I am so happy to have felt his love and strength throughout my life, and that I have had the opportunity to share his love with others to give them strength and hope.
I am grateful for our loving Father in Heaven who prepared a plan for us to find joy, peace and happiness! I’m grateful that he provided a way for this to be possible through his son, Jesus Christ. I know he loves each of us. All of us are his children and he wants us to succeed and ultimately find joy and peace, even if and when we experience trials and troubles in this life.
I am grateful and happy to be acquainted with the restored gospel of Jesus Christ! I’m grateful that God, our Father, has followed his pattern to call a prophet in our day as he did for his children in days of yore. I am grateful that Joseph Smith had the faith and humility to seek the truth and then act as directed by God to restore all things that God has revealed. I am grateful for a current prophet and the restored priesthood power.
I am grateful for The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ! In concert with the Bible, we can learn of our Father’s plan for us and how to find joy and peace through service, making covenants and loving our fellow men.
